Ruth Watkin — Founder & Director

I am a historical costume maker and costume construction tutor at Nottingham Trent University (England), and have had a nerdy passion for dress history since I read my first book on the subject in my teens. I came up with the idea for the archive because I wanted to be able to share the quirky details about my own little costume collection with more than just the handful of my fashion history loving friends that lived nearby. I do the admin for the website.

Rhys Williams — Technical Lead

Rhys is the one man technical team behind the archive. He is the coding wizard that built it from the ground up, one keystroke at a time. He is slightly bemused by the dress history side of things but is doing a wonderful job nonetheless.
